In this position, you will pride yourself in developing innovative designs which are used by billions of people around the Globe. This position primarily involves high-density solar power supply development for Sunculture Solar's upcoming product releases.

Key Qualifications:
◾Must have hands-on experience and posses deep knowledge of basic DC/DC converter topologies such as Buck / Boost and flyback topologies
◾Understand DC/AC inverter circuits and topologies
◾Experienced and capable of testing and debugging circuits
◾Experience with power line communication (PLC)
◾Must be intimately familiar with power supply safety and environmental certifications, offline controllers, components, magnetic design, power supply layout and state-of-the art techniques for efficiency optimizations
◾Possess good understanding of thermals, mechanical and packaging challenges. Must also have knowledge of high volume manufacturing technologies and production variances
◾Possess strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to guide critical decisions
◾Must be highly motivated, a self-starter with innovation, and have high integrity and the ability to pay attention to details

Duties and Responsibilities:
◾Develop products from concept, through design, manufacturing and support to end of lifeInterface with various hardware and software vendors on complex system integration tasks to achieve efficient, cost-effective product solutions
◾Work with compliance groups to ensure successful completion of certification process
◾Design, Document, and Validate designs
◾Write Engineering Requirements, Test Plans, Validation Reports
◾Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Skills and Experience:
◾8 + years of practical hands-on experience with power electronics control systems, preferably solar power inverters and related.
◾Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering required; Masters or PhD Preferred
◾A passion for solar energy.
◾Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
◾A self starter with strong organizational skills.
◾C programming experience a plus
◾Practical Power Electronics knowledge and experience.
◾Experience with wireless communication protocols a plus.
◾Thinks outside the box when developing solutions
◾Experience and expertise with lab tools such as debuggers, logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
